We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial and resourceful leader to take over the day-to-day running of this nascent organisation and to build it into an impactful and respected campaigning institution.
As well as running Tax Justice UK, the Executive Director will lead on our core advocacy and campaigning activities. The postholder will soon be joined by a Research Director, who will be recruited in early 2018 and will have expert knowledge of the UK tax system. If funding allows, the Executive Director will recruit up to four more staff in 2019, with expertise in policy, communications, business development and administration. In the meantime, all of these functions will be covered by the Executive Director and Research Director.
We are in the process of securing funding for our two-year strategy for 2018 and 2019, which will be confirmed in December. The organisational budget covers salaries for both of these positions; shared office space (preferably in London) and related costs; IT and communications, travel and professional services; publications, events and campaign costs; and freelance book-keeping and design support. |
