- UK banks no longer providing audit confirmations - I know it's not quite what this article says - but it might as well do so. UK banks have basically ceased to cooperate with auditors to help them locate unidentified bank accounts when doing an audit. There's only one likely outcome: misstated accounts an
- Big Four is enough says US government - They audit 98% of all US companies turning over more then $1 billion - but that sort of oligopoly is apparently OK in the bastion of free enterprise
